3 out of 5 eggs Works great but fan is loud

Pros: I put this card into my custom built system for my bedroom TV. I am running Ubuntu Linux on this computer. It renders movies flawless. I really like the 1gig memory.

Cons: It's loud. I am tempted to remove the fan to see if it will work okay or overheat.

5 out of 5 eggs Great Card

Pros: Great card - I have an old computer Dell X410, and the original GeForce 7300LE / 128 Mbit cart that had gone bad - replaced it with this one and works great. Called EVGA support desk to confirm, as I have 32 bit CPU/32 Bit OS to make sure this 64 bit card will work, they confirmed and ordered. Great card - watched YouTube on installing it on Dell X410. Wish I would have replaced it earlier, as I was confused if it was the Graphics card (7300LE) or something else.
Great Support and utilities from EVGA, it tells of Fan / Temperature, I'm just running 1 display - so I've see other review on Noisy Fan, have yet to have the fan even go on ...
Again, would recommend, in my case should have researched and changed to this card earlier - great support from EVGA pre-sales team (number provided by NewEggs listing)

Cons: None. As I have old computer, has only 2 GB of RAM, and 32bit, so the old Graphics card only had 128 MB of RAM on G-card, this has 1 GB so when paired together ends up using more RAM - it works fine and apps work fine

5 out of 5 eggs video card

Pros: I purchased this card cause I will be upgrading my mobo soon and the board doesn't have on board video. Installation was simple and the card did what it was suppose to. I can run at alot higher resolution now. I mostly stream videos over netflix and hbogo. I'm not a pc gamer so I can't give a review on how it does with that.

Cons: non so far

5 out of 5 eggs Great low power dGPU

Pros: It has Multiple video output interfaces, and can run two monitors in extended mode. The drivers update easily also. The software from NVidia is great, and allows you to have two monitors with different desktop backgrounds on each without extra software from 3rd parties. This is a great upgrade from the integrated GPU that is installed in my desktop at work. I am a quality inspector at a helicopter engine repair and overhaul facility, so I am always on the computer doing digital paperwork, so having 2 monitors is must have in order to be able to read the manuals and fill out the reports without having to constantly flip back and forth between the windows. This card did the job. It isn't really strong enough to play some graphics intensive games, but that isn't what I needed it for, after all this is a work computer. It does the job and for the price it can't be beat. Plus EVGA has always been a go to company when needing graphics. It is easy to install to, just plug it into the PCIe port, and turn the computer on, go into the BIOS and turn off the iGPU and enable the PCIe GPU if necessary. Reboot the computer and plug the cable into the new card and there you go. It is in and running, now just install the drivers and you are all set. Make use of the nView software too, it has a lot of options that you can use to fully customize your desktop. Also, a lot of reviews say it doesn't come with the LP bracket, and even the description so it doesn't so I ordered a bracket kit for it, and to my surprise when I got it, there was a LP bracket in the box. May have been a luck of the draw, but now I can save the bracket kit for later if I ever get around to installing dGPUs in the other computers in my shop.

Cons: No real cons that I can think of. There were a lot of complaints in other reviews about noise from the fan, but I have not noticed any acoustics from it to date. This card can be used with EVGA's Percision X utility for Overclocking, but it doesn't O/C very well. Even at stock, when running the EVGA OC Scanner stress test, it only gets about 9-12 FPS, so don't think that you are going to be able to get this card for cheap and then play games like Skyrim or Modern Warfare 3. If you want to play those games, come up with the cash and get you a card like the EVGA GeForce GTX 550ti or higher. This card is basically made for replacing the iGPU, for working with basic desktop programs like MS Word or Outlook, not running Adobe PS or new age games. This isn't a real con to me though, since I knew this prior to purchasing and planned on it. I just need it for running dual monitors. In my home computer I am running the GTX550ti O/Ced for running Adobe PS and playing Skyrim.

Other Thoughts: Great booster card for the money, and it comes from a really reputable company with great customer support. They even have an option when registering the card to get the extended warranty, but in my experience it is not needed as I have never had to replace an EVGA card before, unless it was around a decade old, and by then it is too outdated to even use in a computer.

4 out of 5 eggs Does as advertised

Pros: Renders my videos including flash videos very well. I also run batch scripts to make thumbnails of movies and videos and after running for hours unattended it goes very well. My last vid card I would come back to BSOD.

Cons: Have owned it for only about 3 months but have probably put more running hours and VPU load than an average person would put on a vid card for a year and have not come up with any cons at this point

Other Thoughts: I have been running it on 32 bit windows 7 so I can't give honest feedback for the 64 bit rendering. Good price, good card, 'nuff said.

4 out of 5 eggs Limited and Noisy

Pros: This is a great cheap card if you just need something to throw into a box.
Plus it has hdmi, and it supports audio accross the hdmi and dvi. Throwing this into an old box for a htpc to lighten load on my main box.

Cons: Biggest negative I have for this is noise. The cooling fan is super loud, I thought it was the old CPU fan I am using but not at all.
Nvidia control panel for this didnt have Fan controls either, bit disappointing.

Other Thoughts: Like the low profile option, as this is an old cpu/mobo I will be dropping this into a new pc with a small box in the future.

4 out of 5 eggs Almost 3years!!!

Pros: I still have this card for almost 3 years..... When I bought it, never knew anything about these.. I still play NBA 2k, FIFA at 720p easily at high! other games lag at about 20 fps on mid- high settings.. ! Auto cad runs smooth!

Cons: They never said it was made for gaming, my mistake....

Other Thoughts: Im still begging my dad for a new one, atleast a 7770 maybe this Christmas!
