5 out of 5 eggs Faster than you think!

Pros: Still rocking DDR for your system? I have been beating on this dual-channel kit for almost a year in socket 478/775 overclocking rigs, and it has performed superbly under stress. The sticks have been run with Pentiums from Northwood to Wolfdale and are 24/7 stable at FSB 225 MHz 1:1 (that's DDR 450, PC3600, up from a rated PC3200!). Adding aftermarket heat spreaders allowed me to reach stable FSBs approaching 250 MHz, pushing 4000 MB/s at 1:1 RAM dividers and 2.5-2.7V. The highest I have hit is 260 MHz, DDR 520(!), but that's not stable for sustained operation. Still, not bad for some "value" RAM!

Cons: None, really, since this is value RAM and an included integrated heat spreader would be overkill for its intended uses and demographic.

1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: One worked fine

Cons: The second never worked out of the box, had to buy a 3rd stick so I can have dual channel and the new one works by its self or in single channel mode with the first stick idk why but in dual channel mode I get bsod after 5 min from startup. Tested both stick with memtest86 no problem, tested them together in dual channel still no errors just in windows I now get bsod to lazy to rmaso I just keep them in single channel mode, have new cpu , motherboard and ram on they way anyways now

5 out of 5 eggs Memory Works like a Champ

Pros: I got the Memory in the Mail. I opened it and snapped it in the memory slot and turned the computer on and it booted up 10 times faster and I can open many more programs at the same time and having no issues.

Cons: Nothing

5 out of 5 eggs Upgrade for Dell Dimension 2400

Pros: Used this memory to upgrade a Dell Dimension 2400. Its worth purchasing PC2700 or PC3200 memory for these older machines (which typically have PC2100 memory installed). If you can get your hands on a Northwood P4 3.06Ghz CPU, and upgrade the Bios,
you will increase the FSB speed to 533Mhz and the memory bus speed will increase from 266 Mhz to 333Mhz. Alas, no DDR... but still a speed boost non-the-less. This depends on the motherboard, so do your research!

Cons: More expensive than DDR333 PC2700.

5 out of 5 eggs Nice upgrade for older PCs

Pros: Added this to my old Asus P4P800-VM motherboard. I was worried about compatability, but I had no issues with this memory.

Cons: I wish I would have waited a couple of days since Newegg dropped the price on these!! Arrrgh!

Other Thoughts: 2GB upgrade for older P4 system running Windows XP. Makes a big difference from just 512MB ram.
