  • newegg Pin Pitch Advantage Serial ATA connector includes a line of 7Pin signal terminal and a line of 15Pin power terminal. These two lines of terminals can be detached to the freestanding tie-in, therefore, it not only reduces its body size but also enlarge is trans-positional space.

Pros: Good, cost effective, and gets the job done.

I bought this cable for a second 1TB HDD and it is working as good as any other cable would. I did not have any problems with the metal locking clips.

5 out of 5 eggs Nice quality

Pros: Nice quality with springs at each end for solid connections.

Cons: None

Bottom Line: I replaced some cheapo wires with these. The springs help keep the ends solidly attached with good connection. Works exactly as desired. I recommend.

4 out of 5 eggs Locks to the mobo okay

Pros: Locks to the mobo very nicely. Almost hard to get off

Cons: doesn't lock to the periphral device (e.g. hard drive).

Bottom Line: Took a star off for not locking to the periphrals, but that may not be the cables fault.
