Just got done bench testing 2 of these paired with a AMD 8150 8 core cpu with 12 gigs 1600MHz ram. Over all I have to say I am impressed. 2 of these can nail a GTX-580 performance wise. With everything running at stock speeds, I was able to ... Read more

    New to gaming

I had a small problem with this after the first week. Often, my screen would just turn black after using simple websites. No way out at all, had to reboot. Then, other times it would freeze during a game, multi-player or offline, it didn't matter. Read more

5 out of 5 eggs actually a pretty good card

Pros: This little card can actually handle a lot more than you would think. I got it when I first built my computer and it was still working just fine when I upgraded to a gtx 660. skyrim was playable on ultra and everything else I played worked just fine.

    Cons: none

5 out of 5 eggs Good budget card.

Pros: It ran any game I threw at it at least at medium at 30+ FPS. (aside from the witcher 2) I wish I could remember the FPS on certain games, but I moved on to another card last year. Never missed a beat in the year-plus I owned it. Highly recommended for a budget build.

    Cons: None really.

Bottom Line: HIS is my go to brand for GPU's. I really trust them. This card is no different.

2 out of 5 eggs Not so strong of a card

Pros: Card worked well for the first 3 months that I had it, nice size for the midtower that I have, runs fairly quiet.

Cons: After 3 months I noticed a problem with the card which caused problems overclocking. The card isn't that good at displacing heat so it tends to overheat often enough even with a good airflow through the case. After a year of use the card has begun to BSoD as well as cause line streaking across the screen.

Bottom Line: Decent card, not worth the price though.

4 out of 5 eggs Great bang for buck.

Pros: Got this for a low-budget customer and they are able to run all their games at good framerates on a 1280x1024 monitor.

    Cons: None!

Bottom Line: Grab this if your on a budget.

5 out of 5 eggs Still chuggin' away

Pros: I've been using this card since 2012. I got it to be sure I could play FF14 (ouch, I know). It's been holding up playing Payday 2 great at 1920x1080 on max settings (max my piddly monitor supports). I can run most games although there are more and more coming out that I can't hit max settings.

It's all about price to scale though. This card isn't going to break your budget leaving money for SSD's, additional RAM and good CPUs.

Cons: A couple times I've had a driver glitch here or there where the card won't scale to the monitor. I have to tweak the overscan settings a bit or reboot the PC/reinstall driver.

Bottom Line: As corny as it sounds ATI driver has a Gaming Settings Console deal that will automatically help optimize settings for games it finds are installed on your system. After one of the Payday 2 updates my system was running terribly with it. Mouse lag all over, I dropped settings, frames were down in the 20s. It was bad. I actually as a last ditch told it to optimize and that fixed it.

It might actually be worth your while to save time and let it try to modify the game config settings for you.

5 out of 5 eggs Good For the price

Pros: -Get what you pay for.
    -Great graphics for the price
-Picked it up back in 2012 for $100
    - use this for gaming and can play mostly any game at a decent resolution and framerate.
Run my computer for some times weeks at a time and this thing has always kept a nice steady temp and has had no problems

    Cons: None so far

    2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: It worked very well while it lasted. Very cool running card.

Cons: After sale support is very bad with HIS. I can't log on my account to file a RMA and it's very difficult to know how to contact them. Their log in system is broken and there is no way to contact them otherwise.

The fan broke on the graphics card a year after I bought it. It comes with a warranty of 2 years but it seems impossible to contact them for a RMA. I'm very close to contact a consumer office bureau and file an official complaint against them.

5 out of 5 eggs Games are good

Pros: Got it back in May 2012 and still kickin. Handed down when I got my new upgrade.

    Cons: none

Bottom Line: should have waited for the price drop when it was newer.

5 out of 5 eggs HIS Does it Again

Pros: Great temps thanks to HIS' always impressive coolers.
One of the best GPUs for performance per price and wattage.
Packaged very nicely with cut-to-shape foam.
Fairly quiet most of the time.

    Cons: None.

Bottom Line: This is the third HIS GPU that I've ever owned, personally. I've put some in clients' computers, though. All three of the ones I've owned, none have ever had any issues. They've all worked flawlessly and they all stay amazingly cool, then when overclocked.

My previous two HIS GPUs were given away whenever I upgraded them. The first lasted at least five years and the second lasted at least 3 years. To my knowledge, they're both still working to this day, though probably have been replaced for an upgrade by now.

HIS makes some of the best coolers I've seen in GPUs. Under a 15 minute stress test with FurMark, this card gave me a max temp of only 63 degrees. And that's with the fan never going over 33%, also!

I haven't yet done so with this card, but both of my previous HIS cards overclocked very well and at very good temperatures. One of them gave me a 23% overclock with stock volts. Pretty decent. HIS also uses solid state capacitors, so they're nice and durable.

All in all, if you're looking for the best bang for your buck or wattage, you can't go wrong with this card!

5 out of 5 eggs Good value for $$

Pros: Incredible little beast and i was able to (not on this website) pick it up for a 100 bucks. i am running battlefield 4 on high no issues and am finally able to enjoy playing Planetside 2 on my Pc now. If your wondering will this card perform on another game essentially as it currently stands if it can run bf4 it can just about run everything (provided you have a decent processor id say amd fx series or higher or a intel i5 or higher).

Cons: the card measures in at about 7 inches by 2.5-3 inches so if you have a small case or dont have a 6 pin power connector then you most likely wont be able to use it. It also takes up two slots on the motherboard because its a bigger card but it only actually plugs into the Pcie-x16 slot and the 6 pin power connector.

Bottom Line: Its a great bargain. If you know you can use this card then as it stands now id say its one of the if not the best performance for money card on the market as of posting this review 2/11/14.
The requirements to use this card are as follows:
    1. one pcieX16 slot to plug the card into.
    2. about 7 (8 to be safe) inches of horizontal space in your case.
    3. about 3 inches the other way of space in your case .
    4. One 6 pin power connector (mine came with a 4 pin converter)
    5. minimum of a 450 watt power supply (could probably get away with 400 but 450 to be safe)

    My computer specs:
fx 6100 6 core processor with 12gb of ddr3 ram a radeon hd 7770 1gb ddr5 and a 500 watt psu with 1250 gb of hard drive storage

With my specs i run all my games at a average of 60 fps in game in the heat of battle in battlefield 4 or the relaxation of putting a fire out on sims 3.
