SUPER QUIET! I LOVE THIS THING

Inaudible - I cannot hear this thing above my Freezer 7 Rev 2 even with the CPU cooler at it's lowest idle speed. Heavy - means high quality Single 40amp rail - means it has plenty of juice to feed your power hungry components and handle ... Read more

    Top Critical Review

    Hasn't worked great at all

Antec must've got a bad crop of these in -- it's taken me more than a month, but after going through two different motherboards, and various other components, I found out this PS was faulty. Constantly reboots, sometimes after a few minutes, ... Read more

5 out of 5 eggs Nice PS

Pros: Good Power Control and response, Plenty of Juice, Quiet, Nice Cable Lengths in full size ATX case, and all around outstanding.

    Cons: Can't think of any?

Bottom Line: Put this PS in a ATX gaming case with an AMD 3gh 6 core water cooled CPU, Video is dual crossfired Radeon 4870''s, 8 gz of ram, and ASRock 970 Extreme4 MB. Runs it all very smooth, would definitely buy another and most likely will when I next upgrade my system and pass my old one to my wife :)

    5 out of 5 eggs It's working

Pros: Thing works, what more do you want. I never hear it, but how could I over my loud ash CPU cooler.

Cons: It's not modular, but you knew that.

Bottom Line: None really. I don't like how it vents to the bottom, but I just put it on a flat board since I have a carpeted floor.

5 out of 5 eggs 3 Years and still going

Pros: Bought it when it was on sale (black friday week) because the ratings were pretty good. More than enough power for my mild gaming system (see other)

Cons: The sleeving made it a little difficult to route cables in my Rosewill Challenger Case but it's all there and still working.

Bottom Line: More than enough to power a
    Amd 720 3x BE OCed to 3.4ghz
    Asus Radeon 7870 slightly OCed
    Sabertooth 990fx mobo
    2x WD 500g HDs
    LG Dvd RW drive
    2x gskill 4gb sniper series
    4 Case fans/Hyper212 fan.

5 out of 5 eggs Efficient Power

Pros: Not gold-certified, but definitely not bad.

    Cons: None.

Bottom Line: At current price of $90 is overprice, but I got for les than half this with a sale and rebate ... which was honored. At that price it's a steal. I trust Antec power supplies.

On weekends it's opened all day long... no problem since day one!

Cons: None so far because it still works after two years!!!

1 out of 5 eggs Died A Quiet Death (Followup)

    Pros: None!

Cons: Antec responded to my review and I was advised (as you can read) to call their 800 number to speak to a representative. Forget about it! After holding on the phone for more than an hour (I was held at number 3 "queue position) throughout the entire waiting time. What is the point of having people call your customer support number when you WILL NOT or CAN NOT answer their calls? You need to remove the telephone number and send us directly to your website.

Bottom Line: I usually am a very calm and easy-going person. But in Antec's case, I am absolutely furious! What in the heck happened to this once fine company? They need to clean up their act -- QUICKLY! Or, get out of the market.

4 out of 5 eggs Good Power Supply

    Pros: 520 Watts
Lot's of Connectors for its power output
    80 Plus Bronze
It's lasted 10 months no problem

Cons: Non-Modular (I knew that before I bought it though.

Bottom Line: Great power supply for the price. Works well in my system that has, a Phenom II X4 @ 3.9 Ghz, MSI 970A-G43, Radeon HD7850 and 8GB 1333 Memory . Like I said in pro its been on almost all the time for 10 months with no problems.

1 out of 5 eggs DOA

Pros: Decent price if it works.

Cons: Dead on arrival. Since I have to pay return shipping on the RMA, the end cost of this PSU to me will have increased by almost 25% (plus the aggravation of troubleshooting and being without a working computer for a couple of weeks).
