Vernal Tech Inc Returns Policy Overview

According to our store policy, you may return new, unopened items sold and fulfilled by vernal.tech within 30 days of delivery. Items should be returned in their original product packaging. Defective product should be reported within 14 days of delivery.

Any return for a refund may be subject to a 15% or more restocking fee based on item condition. This fee may be waived for the following reasons:

Carrier damage
Defective product (must report within 14 days of delivery)
Received incorrect product
unopened and sealed product
Product was an extra item not ordered

Note: Any return that is misrepresented as being for any of the above reasons will automatically have the restocking fee applied even if it was initially waived.

We do not pay the return shipping cost for defective merchandise. We are not responsible for product defects, because we do not manufacture the products we carry. However, if you pay to send the item back to us, we will replace the item (if it is still available) and ship the replacement to you at no charge. We will employ every resource it has to ensure that your item is replaced promptly, without hassle.

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper; however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days). We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.

RMA instructions

When you return an item, you may see different return options available. To request:
1. Log onto your NeweggBusiness.com account. Select New RMA Request option under My Account. Find your order in order history.
2. Click Return an item from this order option to start.
3. Select the return type from Refund or Replace.
4. Select the item(s) you wish to continue.
5. Specify more details, including item quantity, and any additional comments or messages regarding your request before click SUBMIT button.
6. It will take up to 24 - 48 hours to respond to your inquiry after Customer Service Representatives receive your inquiry.
7. Once your request is approved, you will be provided with detailed instruction through e-mail. The e-mail contains RMA number, RMA details and important return shipping instruction. Read the instruction carefully before shipping your return merchandise back.
8. We strongly recommend you return your item in the same or similar packaging as they were delivered to you with all the original parts, accessories and menu/documentation included (any missing parts or accessories may result your return being rejected or your refund/replacement being delayed). Re-using the package your item came in is acceptable, as long as the packaging is in good condition and all previous addresses, tracking information and labels are removed.

4 out of 5 eggs Marketplace Orders are misleading

Make sure you are ordering from newegg and not from the newegg "marketplace". I ordered a monitor for Christmas, it showed a tracking number, but the order wasn't picked up. I contacted newegg customer service and was told they couldn't help me. They did contact the seller for me and I received a message saying the seller "was on vacation until 1/4/21"!! during Christmas...because of this I ordered another one so my son could have it in time for Christmas, and low and behold this one showed up a 2 days before Christmas...with no notification at all. Now I am trying to return it and guess what, newegg customer service cannot help me and I am held to the return policy of the seller. Newegg is representing this seller and should have some skin in the game instead of shrugging their shoulders and saying oh well not our problem.

Bought an Office Home and Student license key card from this vendor, and it works fine. It's hard to tell whether some of these software license vendors are for real... but this one was.

I do not recommend this seller. I ordered a Chromebook and received a shipping notice and tracking information within a few hours. After a week the tracking information still said the courier was awaiting to receive the item. The seller clearly did not have the item in stock. I was in a hurry to receive the item and instead I had my money tied up for nearly two weeks dealing with this and the subsequent return process.

I purchased a laptop,my card was charged, I received a confirmation number. I never received the laptop. Several days later I received an email saying thank you for returning the laptop. Confused, I called customer service and they couldn't why the laptop was not shipped and why it was being labeled a return. It took another week before my credit card was refunded. Still don't know why or what happened and it honestly doesn't matter at this point. If it's NegEgg policy to sell something, charge someone and then not deliver that product or make any kind of offer to replace it with a comparable item, it's not a company I want to do business with and I'll be sure to let everyone I know the same. Super disappointed because I have purchased through NewEgg before and this transaction was as unprofessional and third as I've ever experienced.

It was a little difficult to get in contact with the seller. I had to follow up with New egg before we were able to find a solution. Once I was able to get in contact with them they explained they were a small organization, so it made it difficult. They were helpful and my computer works now. It was still a bit ridiculous that the computer was sent out without the issues being handled before hand, but they were able to give me a quick and easy solution.
