    Rosewill Going BAD

Rosewill brand deteriorating. After using many of these cartridges for my HP2605dn, the latest Q6002A put in service May 16 ran out of toner (or won't feed any) yesterday, July 15, exactly 2 months of use. According to HP diagnostics, I've ... Read more

4 out of 5 eggs So far so good.

Pros: Works and is much cheaper than HP gouging.

Cons: Inconsistent packaging gives a bad impression. I purchased the 3 colors "Tri-pack" for a 2600n and some of the toner was better packed than others.

5 out of 5 eggs Works as they should

Pros: I got this for my parents HP Color LaserJet 2600n. My dad says they work just as well as the official HP toner, and that's good enough for me to award a 5 egg rating.

    Cons: None

Bottom Line: It's weird when different colours ship from different locations. We ordered all 4 toner cartridges for their 2600n in one order. Three shipped from Mississauga so I got them the next day, and one shipped from western USA so took like 12 days. No big deal, but weird!

1 out of 5 eggs Rosewill Going BAD

Pros: Reasonably priced toner that has worked well in the past and given me acceptable color. I've exclusively used Rosewill toner for my HP2605dn for the last several years.

Cons: Rosewill brand deteriorating. After using many of these cartridges for my HP2605dn, the latest Q6002A put in service May 16 ran out of toner (or won't feed any) yesterday, July 15, exactly 2 months of use. According to HP diagnostics, I've printed 460 pages, it should have 79% toner remaining,

Bottom Line: I'll have to check on Newegg's replacement policy on this. I May have to start looking for another source of toner.

1 out of 5 eggs poor quality photos

Pros: Relatively cheaper than hp products

Cons: I purchased this and a black cartridge in order to save money. Unfortunately the photos I need to print for work are of a much poorer quality than I've previously had. Muddy middle tones, lack of definition and clarity, loss of details. Basically the printed images are not usable to me or my clients. Have tried to adjust printer settings to overcome these deficiencies to no avail. Feel I threw away money on these two cartridges and cannot recommend them to anyone.

5 out of 5 eggs Perfect

Pros: I purchased the combo pack. The refilled cartridges were perfect. I had none of the problems others described such as leaking toner. The colors match OEM cartridges. The cost can't be beat. Quick shipping.

    Cons: None

    Bottom Line: Very pleased.

2 out of 5 eggs you get what you pay for

    Pros: price, maybe.

Cons: These cartridges do not have the printing capacity of HP units. They do not provide you with the same color, quality or quantity of the HP units.

Bottom Line: You will get a reduced printing capacity and quality from these cartridges, which in turn probably costs you more in the long run. Get ready to see some strange colors from them, especially when you least expect, or need it. Stick with HP components for your HP printers if you want consistency and value, and save yourself some grief.

1 out of 5 eggs Bad, Bad, Bad

    Pros: None
The cheap price becomes in fact an cons. See below.

    Cons: Horrible quality.
Purchased complete set of 4 cartridges. Two of them leak toner, the third one is not able to print solid color.
They may be selling for cheap, but there is a reason of it: they are horrible!!! I am out of $$$ and I still cannot print decent documents. For this money, you can buy 2 original HP cartridges. I still have to buy HP cartridges, but at the end I will have paid $$$ more than regular price.

The box states that :"Each cartridge is designed and manufactured to meet or exceed OEM product specifications...." These are re-used HP cartridges with holes in them , refilled with poor quality toner. How can they meet or exceed the OEM specs?
Their box also says that "each cartridge is manufactured under stringent manufacturing standards. All products go through rigorous testing to ensure highest level of quality and reliability". Two out of 4 cartridges leak toner big time, what kind of testing are they talking about?

Bottom Line: Do yourself a favour: just buy toner and hole making tool and it will cost you less than half of what you pay for these cartridges. Also, if you do not have 2 left hands, you will get better results than Rosewill.

5 out of 5 eggs Easy Install + Works Well

Pros: Came in a nice Rosewill box with the cartridge packed securely inside along with a easy to understand 1-2-3 manual and FAQs paper. Took old cartridge out, put this one in, success. Installed in HP 2600N. Much cheaper than HP and their lies of having better cartridges that last longer.

Cons: Shipping should be free or at least extend the Rosewill cartridge sale to this one. :/
