    Pros: None

    Cons: Ordered "X" higher capacity cartridges for my Canon 4370DN. Received HP cartridges that of course did not fit. My initial request for correction was refuted as I was told they were the exact same thing. Went to trouble of photographing empty Canon vs. new HP to show physical differences, as well as failure to seat into printer. Was finally told to return them for replacement. Also received acknowledgement that there are no such think as high-capacity refills for this printer. When new order was finally received and installed, cartridges started to leave white blotches and streaks after about a week of light printing. With both cartridges, I had to remove, rotate to distribute toner and squeeze a few more pages at a time out of what I consider are low-capacity refills more like starters. I will never go through this again.

    Bottom Line: The supplier was pleasant enough once we got passed the denials, hence one egg.

    3 out of 5 eggs Defective - no longer worth the risk?

    Pros: Until now I have had good luck with these cartridges, having purchased a number of them from Newegg. The print quality has been good.

    Cons: I agree with the many reviews that say the low toner light seems to come on very quickly. I have been ignoring that, although the printer will not go into sleep mode when the warning is on, so I manually turn it off at the end of the day. The thing that really griped me today is the new cartridge I just installed apparently had NO toner in it - absolutely nothing on the "printed" page, not a light image or streaked image, nothing (yes, I removed the protective black paper). I replaced it with another new one, which seems to work perfectly.

    Pros: _relatively_ inexpensive compared to Canon, works well for a short time

    Bottom Line: This toner cartridge works well when first installed in a Canon MF4350D. However, it causes the device to display the "out of toner" message after printing fewer than 1,000 pages at 5% or less coverage, even though it is rated for 2,000 pages at 5% coverage. Doesn't seem worth the price given the nuisance of the message, whether or not the cartridge is really out of toner.

    This is the first Rosewill product with which I have been completely unsatisfied, although overall my impression is that Rosewill-branded products are continuously decreasing in average quality over time.

    I have been a NewEgg customer since shortly after NewEgg appeared on the Web, and am sorry to say that NewEgg is no longer my first choice among tech retailers for online purchases. All good things must end I guess. I wish NewEgg the best and hope they can recover.

    5 out of 5 eggs 2nd One worked better

    Pros: I purchased one of these a number of months ago and had issues with it. I always received an out of toner message even though it wasn't. Rosewill was very nice an exchanged it for a new one. The new one works perfectly. I will definitely purchase this again now.

    Pros: Cheaper than Canon

    Cons: I get an out of toner error virtually every time I print with this cartridge. I have to take it out of the printer and forcefully insert it back into the printer to get rid of the error. I will be calling Rosewill to see if they will exchange it.

    2 out of 5 eggs Used to be a good product

    Pros: Price - earlier ones worked fine.

    Cons: I read the reviews on this Rosewill compatible cartridge many months ago and decided to give both it and the printer (Canon MF4350d on sale) a try. They worked great together for 2 of Rosewill's cartridges. The quantity printed was good. Then recently with the last two RW carts ordered and installed I get the out of toner beep and light after only a few prints. I can reset the cart in the slot in the printer but nothing changes. Last cart printed a good number of prints even though it warns that it is our of toner - I just ignore it and it goes on printing. Now working on the second one that beeps and blinks after printing just 2 sheets. Maybe Roswell has changed something in their reman process and it does not work as well as the first ones they made.

    It is a sight inconvenience to just print through the beeping and blinking. Also the power save function cannot be set while the toner out light blinks so I just turn on and off the printer each time I use it.

    Bottom Line: Because these toner carts are so expensive to get from the OEM mfgr, I'll probably go back to the kind of refillable inkjet printing I used to use. I kept the old reliable Canon for just this reason and it has worked fine since 2004. I also sometimes use compatible inkjet carts from Sophia Global which work just fine and are a small fraction of the price of new ones. So if you don't actually need a laser printer the old inkjet may be a cost effective alternative.

    1 out of 5 eggs Read return policy 1st!

    Pros: They are cheap.

    Cons: I purchased 2 of these in January and at the time there were only good reviews here. The 1st one yielded about 15% less pages than the Canon toner did but it was cheap enough that it still seemed like a good value. The second one gave me an "out of toner" error message after the first print job that was just a couple of pages. It has a 1 year warranty but Newegg will only accept this type of product for return within 30 days if it's unopened. So how do you it's defective without opening it? I will have to deal with Rosewill.

    Bottom Line: A bargain is only a bargain if the product works. Not likely it will be worthwhile to ship back to the manufacturer.

    Pros: Cheap alternative to OEM.
    used to be as good as original.

    Cons: Quality no longer top notch.
    Latest batch seems to have a high defective rate.

    Bottom Line: Since last year I've purchased a dozen of these cartridges and was always satisfied with the quality/price... until my last order (2 weeks ago). 2 out of 4 are defective.

    Pros: Seems generally reliable, much cheaper than OEM.

    Cons: I get some grayed pages, usually during long runs.

    Bottom Line: Probably this is just something that sometimes happens with 3rd party toners, and I happened to be the slightly unlucky one this time. Found a cheaper toner elsewhere which is working perfectly, and I'm keeping this one for backup. All in all, I do like Rosewill stuff; the one I got of this product just isn't quite up to snuff.
