5 out of 5 eggs EVGA Hadron Hydro Mini-ITX Chassis w/ 500W 80lus Gold Power Supply

Pros: Very spacious considering it's a Mini case. The built in power supply is sleek and powerful. With liquid CPU cooling it runs very quiet and my temps are great. Definitely a great buy.

    Cons: None so far.

5 out of 5 eggs Not meant for beginners.

Pros: Slick looks. Very slick. Great size. If you do your research on parts, and you purchase EVGA's watercooling kit (or assemble your own loop), you'll have a great time.

Cons: This case is not meant for beginners. This case is not meant for anyone not investing in a full liquid cooling loop. This case "can" take all-in-one 120mm coolers, but you waste so much potential.

Also, EVGA, if you release a "model 2" of this case, PLEASE make the HDD cage removable!

Bottom Line: I'm currently using the case with a Cooler Master Seidon 120V, and it works fine. However, in order to get at least one other 120mm fan in there, I had to use a slim fan, and ziptie it to the case. Aifrlow is still bad.

3 out of 5 eggs DOA Power Supply

Pros: Awesome, very solid case. I love everything about it. Definitely will be adding the EVGA water cooling kit when I replace my graphics card.

Cons: Frustrated that the power supply inside arrived DOA and saw I wasn't the only one. I'm migrating from another case and after cable managing inside the Hadron, I had to take it all apart and put everything back in my old case and start the long RMA process. Could have been 5 stars.

5 out of 5 eggs EVGA Hadron Hydro

Pros: This is a great case. Great design and aesthetically pleasing. Power supply powers my i7 4790k and EVGA 580 Wonderfully.

Cons: Nothing worth dropping an egg over. 4+4 CPU power cables are far too short even in the EVGA Hadron Hydro. They are draped over the side of my GPU. So not only does it look bad but it also puts slight pressure on my EVGA 580. The front io cables are disgusting to look at. took them out and placed black paint on them.

3 out of 5 eggs Not surprisingly roomy.

    Pros: -modern exterior design.
    -build quality is exceptional.
    -500W GOLD PSU yah say?
    -Fits MOST full size VGA

Cons: -With this case it seems EVGA has decided to battle against the OCD of the world. EVERYTHING in this case makes it impossible to have a clean and cohesive interior unless you are a pro modder.
    -No cable management whatsoever.
    -Ugly PSU cables.
-I would have rather seen an SFX PSU than a 1U. There are more High-end Modular SFX form factor PSUs on the market.
-PSU blocks what could be another place for fans or another radiator.
-Drive bay is the absolute worst. Takes up tons of space, makes everything cramped. Hard drive connectors point upward to further battle any clean look. Could have easily made it removable for numerous reasons.. not a single positive reason to rivet it on with something like 14 RIVETS!
-ABSOLUTELY NO WAY TO FIT A CLOSED LOOP or AIO liquid cooler in this case without modification.
-I would trade the disk bay in for more drive bays.
-BRIGHT BLUE USB 3.0 RIBBON (WHY?!) cable that drags all the way across the top of the VGA and plugs into their own proprietary Z97 STINGER MOBO's USB 3.0 plug opposite (horizontal) of the natural lay of the (vertical) flat ribbon cable.
-1980's grey HDaudio cable also take this route and drags all the way across the VGA... just for good measure.. Ensure that nothing in the case could match or look orderly.
-Wasting of Space is made easy by the Proprietary fitting only for evga liquid reservoir/pump area toward the back of the case. Nothing else can be done with this without modification. Utter waste unless you plan to buy everything EVGA.. which is their obvious intent here.

1 out of 5 eggs dang it!

Pros: The case is a clean and slick design! Not overloaded with useless drive cages and such!

Cons: My case arrived with the power supply in it being DOA. I have RMA'd it just wish it didn't take so long to get there and get back!

cable management is a little crazy depending on your mobo layout and in my case, management was hard to do. Been nice to have some holes that ran behind the drive cage or inside it to route a 24 pin, cpu pin, and such! I put a lot of time into managing my cables and once I got it looking pretty clean the power supply was dead so that was frustrating I almost tested it before the build but didnt and then was frustrated at having wasted that much time!

PSU would be much better with modular cables, Even if it woulda cost a little bit more!

Also EVGA should come out with atleast a 700-750w power supply made specifically for this case since you can't just swap a power supply in and out! 500w just limits what you can do overclocking cpu/gpu.

Ill give more eggs once I get my new case and the power supply works!

4 out of 5 eggs Well done EVGA

Pros: This case is remarkably small for what it can do. I was able to install an EVGA 890 GTX Hydro with the length of the card and waterblock not being an issue. The supplied PSU is also doing great at powering the system. The metal that's used in almost all of the cases construction is sturdy, and the paint is also well done. You won't be scratching or denting this chassis easily. The EVGA Hadron Hydro watercooling kit also installed easily, showing that it's made for this case.

Cons: I would love to have seen the optical drive slot and IO ports on the same side of the case as the viewing panel. I have to choose which side I want to see easily on my desk. It may sound petty, but most aren't choosing this chassis for purely performance. It's a beauty after all. There are only a couple of optical drives advertised by the manufacturer to work in this case, and none of them are Blu-Ray capable. Do your research though, because they do exist. Finally, such a great quality case has a somewhat cheap feeling plastic drive mounts. Knowing that almost every enthusiast system that is going to be built around a Mini-ITX form factor will be running SSDs makes it confusing as to why so much space was wasted by this drive cage. Make the cage modular in the next version of the Hadron please.

Bottom Line: Overall a great case. I'm a very picky owner, and even with the cons that I mentioned I would purchase this chassis again without hesitation. Just please EVGA, announce a compatible slim slot loading Blu-Ray drive for this chassis! You'll sell even more of these cases if you do. =)

5 out of 5 eggs Really cool*

    Pros: -Excellent cooling options.
    -Very cool looking design
-Fits full size Graphics cards (very snug)
    -Portable

    Cons: -No cable management
-usb 3.0 cable too short for F2A88XN motherboard

Bottom Line: So i have built two systems with the hdyro and non hydro version of this case. They look awesome when complete and feel very high quality. The last system i built was for an on site film crew. It had 2 4tb raid drives and a 250gb ssd. Fitting three drives in this case took some creativity, but i found that the SSD could fit between the two raid drives. A bit snug but it works, a hint for putting the ssd in is to reverse its position so that the cable comes around the back of the drive bay. I coupled this with an FM2+ processor and 16gb of ram and this machine is the absolute best portable film production machine ever!
If you are a noob to system building, i don't recommend starting with this case, it will give you a headache trying to figure out how to run these cables without them covering the fans. If your not a noob this case provides a fun and rewarding experience.

4 out of 5 eggs tornear

Pros: Looks great. was fun to build. Runs cool during all online gaming.

Cons: should have a 5" second spring for tube between cpu and pump.

Bottom Line: would recommend anyone who never built a mini to try this. It really was fun figuring how to do with a set of big hands. Curved forceps were a big help.

4 out of 5 eggs Solid Case

Pros: All Metal Construction *except front panel

Nothing on it flexes at all

    Power supply seems ok

Cons: Put together a little too well, had a hard time taking it apart

Confusing to take apart to first time cause mine came with the Hadron AIR manual not the hydro. so i may have gotten the wrong accessories too then.

No cable management area at all

Bottom Line: Kind of a weird airflow scheme they want you to follow. all the fans blowing air out the top, what about the graphics card at the bottom with the fan facing down almost touching the stupid power supply.

But i guess this case isn't really meant for airflow now is it =P
