Mistake in item description / details

It is a 9V / 800mA power supply. If you need a 9V / 500mA it will work fine, the fact it is 800mA just means it is able to supply more current. Read more

5 out of 5 eggs Mistake in item description / details

Pros: It is a 9V / 800mA power supply. If you need a 9V / 500mA it will work fine, the fact it is 800mA just means it is able to supply more current.

Cons: Nothing's wrong with it, Newegg's specs are wrong, should list 9V 800mA.
Also, they list under 'Details' that the input is AC 12V 60HZ, should read AC 120V 60HZ.

1 out of 5 eggs inconsistent labeling

    Pros: it's a power adapter

Cons: product details list and output of 500mA, yet the actual item shows 800mA.

Bottom Line: looking at the model number, 9VDC800, one could infer that it is 9 volts, direct current, 800 milliamperes. however, the product details list 500mA, which is why i purchased it... i need 500mA. 800mA is not what i need.
