    Volume with Clarity

You'll be listening to music, and it's blazingly loud but you can't even tell how loud it is because the sound is so clear. The wife comes downstairs and starts yelling at you to "TURN THAT MUSIC DOWN!" But you can't even hear her. She smacks ... Read more

Good speakers but poor support policy

One speaker now drops sound often now. I think it has to do with the cables. Corsair is willing to replace them which is good but their support is terrible. They usually take 5 or more days to respond to a question. I've been waiting at ... Read more

3 out of 5 eggs Great product but has some QC issues

Pros: Clear sound especially through a nice sound card. Easy set up, once you have all the parts.

Cons: Mine did not come with the included 3.5mm AUX jack and also has several dings and dents. Not enough for me to return, but if your set up is going to be sitting someplace for everyone to see and you want it looking nice. Or you just think for $200 they should be able to get you all the stuff in the package in good condition, you might either want to go to the store and get one or have to face a possible return.

2 out of 5 eggs No longer supported by Corsair - No Windows 10 Driver - Voice audio channels on windows 10 have extremely low volume.

Pros: The speakers are great, just not for Windows 10.

Cons: Corsair has said this product is discontinued with no plans to support Windows 10 or anything newer. This was verified by a customer service representative via a help desk ticket.

Movies and videos seem to be fine, however music directly from an MP3 or Videos games suffer from intelligible dialog/lyrics. This is most likely due to a difference in the Windows 10 treats the voice audio channel.

Bottom Line: I sadly cannot recommend this or any other Corsair product at this time due the company's reluctance to support their products.

5 out of 5 eggs Awesome Speekers

Pros: Great speakers, Plugged these speakers into my AS Rock Mother Board and rocked. You won't be disappointed with these speakers. You can crank them all the way up if you can handle it and still have clear sound. I recommend these speakers to anyone that appreciates great sound and don't want to spend a lot money.

    Cons: None

3 out of 5 eggs Sounds great, but the remote is junk.

Pros: Crystal clear audio, even when cranked up.
These speakers can get ridiculously LOUD!
Amazing amount of Bass. The sub hits sooo hard!
Ability to control the amount of bass separate from the volume.

Cons: Display on the remote stops working after a couple days, if it's not already dead on arrival.
Mod-X features are terrible. Best left off.
    These speakers are BIG!

Bottom Line: These speakers sound great, and i love them. But the display on my remote was dead straight out of the box. I got a replacement set, and the display on the remote died within four days. If you dont mind not having a display or using the terrible MOD-X features, then its not a problem. Basic funcationality is still there. But seeing just how hard you're pushing your speakers is a nice feature that can only be displayed on the remote.

5 out of 5 eggs I highly recommend these speakers!

Pros: These speakers are amazing. Impressive sound quality for this price point. For fun I cranked the volume up, playing some Bass Mekanik tracks, which have a wide dynamic range. The volume was actually only at maybe 80%; it could have gone further, but it was already much louder than I would actually use it. It doesn't match the lows of my JBL Pro home theater system, but it is remarkably close at a fraction of the price. Mid range frequencies and higher are flawless.

    Cons: None.

Bottom Line: A big part of the reason why the mids and tweets sound so good is because this system uses separate amplifiers for each driver. It's called bi-amplification, and it is the same technology used in my home theater's JBL Pro LSR 25P studio grade speakers.

1 out of 5 eggs Returns & Fixes

Pros: - Various settings are fantastic.
    - Volume and sound quality are top notch.

    Cons: Replacement/Warranty

The power button on the small control panel broke. Luckily it is stuck on, but if I ever unplug I won't be able to turn on the speakers again. Reached out to Corsair to do a return. Here is where it gets absurd:
    1) Rather than replacing just the small control piece, I need to ship the entire unit, with the heavy/bulky subwoofer back to them.
    2) They wanted me to pay for the shipping. Eventually they sent me a pre-paid shipping label.
    3) I live in NYC, so getting this giant system to a UPS store to box properly and ship would require me to steal a shipping cart or rent a car. There will likely be far more damage in the 2 way shipping of the entire unit to fix a tiny power button on a small, light removable piece.

This will be the last time I buy from Corsair. If they cannot make it easy/convenient to fix small broken parts, then they are not worth the price. It will be cheaper and more convenient to buy a new system from a different manufacturer.

Bottom Line: Buyer beware. Good product, but should anything break, good luck dealing with Corsair to get it fixed/replaced.

5 out of 5 eggs Powerful, amazing

    Pros: Looks high quality materials
For the price you don't found nothing better
Digital control, equalizer presets and more...
    100% recommended.
With movies you forget you are in home. Where are the popcorns! like cinema.
With music, quality sound and bass. You can adjust the bass and believe me you can feel the power.

Cons: Why do I don't bought this before.

5 out of 5 eggs Easy setup good sound.

Pros: Modular plug designs. Lots of cable length. Crystal clear sound that is customizable. Remote to control volume without having to reach to your speakers. Sub woofer pounds/slams very well.

Cons: Sub woofer size is massive.

Bottom Line: I recommend this if you have room for these beasts.

5 out of 5 eggs Fantastic Speakers

Pros: -Fantastic sound with a deep clean bass
-No distortion when volume is on full blast (these are hella fun to blast music on)
-Cord length from Sub to the satellite speaker is lengthy (really handy for setups with more than one monitor)
-The power button is on the control console (NOT on the back of the sub as some lesser speaker sets do)
-Satellite speakers come with risers to point them upwards if you're tall like myself
-Plenty of different options for manipulating the sound coming from the speakers

Cons: Can't think of anything I don't like about em so far.

Bottom Line: -Keep in mind the sub woofer IS very large. For some this may be a con as you will need to find room in your setup. However there is a reason that the sub is so large. Trust me, it sounds awesome.

-Some may not like the price tag. Yes, in consideration of how much 2.1 computer speakers tend to cost, it is on the upper end of the spectrum. But, in reality, $300.00 is cheap for great sounding speakers in general. Do yourself a favour and spend the money on these instead of some cheap $80.00 2.1 set. You won't regret it.
