PRODUCT DESCRIPTIONRequiring only two rack spaces (2U) in a standard rack enclosure, Tripp Lite's SMART2200RMXLN protects connected equipment against data loss, downtime and equipment damage due to power outages, voltage fluctuations and transient surges. Featuring automatic voltage regulation (AVR), it provides regulated 120V nominal output without using battery power during brownouts and overvoltages. Large internal batteries support connected equipment during blackouts. The SMART2200RMXLN has eight AC outlets (4 5-15R, 4 5-15/20R), including two controllable, single-outlet load banks to reboot select equipment on demand or maximize battery runtime for mission-critical equipment. USB and DB9 communication ports support messaging of detailed UPS operational parameters and line power status. A pre-installed SNMPWEBCARD and included PowerAlert software provide complete management and control for an unlimited number of network UPS systems. The SMART2200RMXLN comes with $250,000 of Ultimate Lifetime Insurance coverage for connected equipment insurance and a two-year product warranty (three-year with registration). |

Pre-Installed SNMPWEBCARDThe SMART2200RMXLN features a pre-installed SNMPWEBCARD that enables the UPS to operate as a managed device on the network. Ideal for Protection of Network Rackmount EquipmentThe SMART2200RMXLN provides a 2200VA/1920W capacity, automatic voltage regulation, reliable battery backup and comprehensive power management capability in just 2U of rack space. Featuring eight AC outlets (4 5-15R, 4 5-15/20R), USB/DB9 ports and a pre-installed SNMPWEBCARD, the SMART2200RMXLN offers a complete power protection solution for servers, storage devices and telecom equipment. Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR)AVR protects connected equipment from incremental hardware damage, data loss and performance problems that can be caused by low-voltage conditions, commonly known as brownouts, and overvoltages. The SMART2200RMXLN corrects brownouts as low as 83V and overvoltages as high as 145V to a nominal 120V, providing safe, computer-grade power to all connected components, without consuming battery power needed to support equipment through blackouts. Reliable, Expandable Battery BackupUPS battery backup keeps connected equipment operational through short power failures, and provides time to save data and perform an orderly system shutdown in case of a prolonged blackout. The SMART2200RMXLN features a large internal battery that provides 12 minutes of battery support for a half load (960W) and 4.5 minutes for a full load (1920W). During normal operation, incoming utility power keeps the UPS battery fully charged so that backup power will always be available if needed. For applications requiring continuous uptime, the SMART1000RMXL2U can provide expandable runtime with optional external battery packs (Tripp Lite model BP48V24-2U or BP48V60RT-3U), sold separately. AC Line Surge SuppressionA sudden power surge or spike can damage or destroy electronic components and wipe out irreplaceable data. The SMART2200RMXLN features a 570J surge suppression rating to protect connected components and data from the harmful effects of power surges. EMI/RFI Line Noise FilteringVarious electrical and radio sources can cause disruptive interference on the AC line. This line noise is a common cause of incremental hardware damage, data corruption and audio/video performance problems. The SMART2200RMXLN incorporates technology that filters out disruptive line noise, preventing it from affecting your equipment. LCD Status Screen and Audible AlarmThe SMART2200RMXLN features a front-panel LCD screen that allows IT personnel to monitor the unit's operating mode and pertinent data such as load percentages, power factor, input and output volts, battery charge and estimated runtimes. An audible alarm sounds in case of power-failure, low-battery, overload and fault conditions. USB/DB9 Ports and Included PowerAlert SoftwareThe SMART2200RMXLN features a USB port and a DB9 port (cables included). Used with Tripp Lite's included PowerAlert software, these communication ports provide comprehensive network power monitoring and control. Capabilities include UPS and line power status messaging (on battery, low-battery, power restored, AC line voltage, DC battery voltage and remaining battery capacity), timed inverter shutoff after unattended shutdown, and UPS output power control for delayed or immediate reboot of connected devices. Controllable Load BanksThe SMART2200RMXLN includes two single-outlet load banks that are individually controllable via a software interface to reboot locked-up equipment or shed nonessential loads to maximize battery backup time for mission-critical equipment. Versatile Installation OptionsThe SMART2200RMXLN requires only 2U of rack space in a standard four-post rack enclosure (mounting accessories included). It can also be installed in a two-post rack using the optional 2POSTRMKITWM accessory, or in an upright tower configuration with the optional 2-9USTAND accessory. Peace of MindThe SMART2200RMXLN is manufactured in compliance with strict RoHS specifications, reflecting Tripp Lite's commitment to environmental responsibility. For peace of mind, it comes backed by a two-year warranty (three-year with registration) and $250,000 of Ultimate Lifetime Insurance. Technical Specifications
