The converter built-in a new and original FTDI IC device FT232RL which handles all the USB signalling and protocols. It is convenient there is a physical switch on the board to adjust between 3.3 v & 5v. Simple to use plug and play on laptop. the board draws power directly from your PC/laptop via the USB connection no need for an external power adapter. Provides access to UART Transmit (Tx) Receive (Rx) RTS# CTS# VCC and GND connections; POW (power) There are RXD/TXD transceiver communication LEDs to indicate transmission and reception of data.
