Hardware Installation
1.Turn Off the power to your computer.
2.Unplug the power cord and remove your computers cover.
3.Remove the slot bracket from an available PCIe x1 slot.
4.To install the card, carefully align the cards bus connector with the selected PCIe x1 slot on the motherboard. Push the board down firmly.
5.Replace the slot brackets holding screw to secure the card.
6.Replace the computer cover and reconnect the power cord.
Driver Installation
Installing Driver for windows 2000/xp/server2003/vista/win7/win8 /win10 32 /64 bit:
1.Start Windows and insert the driver CD into the CD-ROM drive, assume drive D
2.Windows will automatically detect the card, ignore the driver installation wizard.
3. Browse the CD-ROM files to find the driver directory that corresponds to your system.
For Windows 2K, XP system
Type: D:\ CMI8738\Win2k,XP\PCI-8738-090401-5.12.8.1734(XP-RC-01)_FR\setup.exe
For Windows Vista
Type: D:\CMI8738\VISTA\PCI-8738-090401-5.12.8.1734(Vista-RC-01) \ setup.exe
For Windows 7
Type: D:\CMI8738\WIN7\PCI-8738-091211-7.12.8.1740(W7-RC-01) \setup.exe
For Window 8/8.1 system
Type: D:\CMI8738\WIN8\ setup.exe
For Windows 10 system
Type: D:\CMI8738\WIN10\ setup.exe
4.Run setup.exe to start driver installation.
5.Follow the on-screen instructions to install the driver.
6.Once the driver installation is completed, restart your computer, and now you can connect you speaker, earphone, or the other Audio equipment.
