Important display developments of 2015 include the release of NVIDIA G-SYNC, AMD FreeSync, and an increase in 4k devices and content. But are businesses responding to those developments? Here are the monitor purchasing trends amongst B2B buyers in 2015.
- Four manufacturers appear on the two lists: Dell, Acer, Asus, and Viewsonic. Dell appears most often, with several high-end UltraSharp displays.
- The largest screen size on the lists is 27 inches while the smallest is 21.5-inches.
- Most screens range between 23 to 24 inches.
- No curved, 120 Hz refresh rates, or 3D screens.
- 1080p is the most popular resolution. The highest resolution is 1440p.
- Plenty of IPS screens, which indicate that businesses are looking for more than just budget monitors.
