Properties

• Material: Paracord (550 type 3)
• Diameter: 4 mm
• Length: 3.3 m (10 ft)
• Color: Canary Yellow

Why Paracord

Alphacool calls this its AlphaCord Premium Sleeve and says that, being made of Paracord, it is therefore superior to many other sleeving types. It is a more supple sleeve than plastic based options, so the final sleeved cable remains flexible and is easy to train. The colors are also more vibrant and have more "pop" than most sleeving options.

Heatshrinkless cables

This is also a great style of sleeving for heatshrinkless cables. The ends of the AlphaCord can simply be melted and, with a press of the fingers, secured into place around the crimped connector. Overall, Alphacool rates it a great sleeving option for heatshrinkless single sleeved custom cables.

What a cable needs

One pack is a single length. The technical details name one thing, the material: Paracord (550 type 3). More colors are in our 4mm sleeving section, and crimpers are under sleeving tools.
