The Alphacool Temperature Sensor Square Acetal - Black is a simple cube-shaped water temperature sensor with two G1/4 internal (female) threads, one sensor per pack. It goes inline at any position in a water circuit and reads out through a cable with a 2-pin connector plug.
The sensor is very compact, and thanks to the two threads it can be easily integrated into any loop. It does not matter whether the system is equipped with hoses or HardTubes. Simply screw the appropriate connections to the sensor and then mount it where it suits the run. Due to the use of acetal it is extremely light, weighing only 29g.
A classic NTC 10 kOhm thermistor is used as the sensor, and the readable temperature range is between -40 and 125 °C. The cable is 40 cm long and terminates in a connector that Alphacool calls typical. Many mainboards now offer direct connection options for such sensors: please check the manual of your mainboard. Of course, there are also various external controllers that offer a connection for it.
The new square design stands out from the usual, mostly round, sensors. Alphacool does without large logo placements, on the view that the product should be in the foreground. Alphacool says the shape fits perfectly with its new Eisblock graphics card water cooler series.
Two ports, so two fittings with a G1/4 thread, in the size of your tube.
