Alphacool ES Orbiter Filling Station, Clear (13093)

The Alphacool ES Orbiter Filling Station is a unit for filling, venting and cleaning water cooling systems, with two built-in pumps, a fine filter and an integrated reservoir of approx. 4500 ml. It has two G1/4 water connections and comes with a 12.7/7.6mm TPV tube, two fittings for it and two quick-release kits.

Efficient venting and filtering

Alphacool's claim for the station is easy and effective filling of water cooling systems. The two powerful pumps not only ensure redundancy but also enable fast and reliable venting, so with their help the system to be filled is quickly vented. The installed fine filter, which Alphacool calls a high-performance filter, ensures that the coolant is cleaned and that no contaminants enter the cooling system. Thanks to the filter, Alphacool says, the station is also ideal for cleaning existing cooling circuits.

Easy to use

The station is filled effortlessly via the slightly raised G1 filling cap. The illuminated viewing window allows easy monitoring of the fill level at any time, even in poorly lit surroundings. The integrated reservoir is the station's expansion tank. A maintenance hatch makes it possible to carry out work such as changing the filter.

What the loop needs

The components to be filled are connected to the quick-release fasteners; the manual shows the TPV connector mounted as an example configuration. Fill coolant first, because the manual says not to operate the Filling Station without it. The station starts when it is connected to the power supply and the power button is pressed, and a second press interrupts the power. Watch the fill level and refill with coolant if necessary. The manual leaves all maintenance work to qualified personnel, and the water is drained from the device before a filter change.

Notes

• Use only clear, transparent water cooling fluids. Alphacool warns that the particles and additives in Pastel liquids can clog and permanently damage radiators, pumps, coolers and hoses, which can void the manufacturer's warranty.
