The Alphacool Eisbaer Pro ES (Solo) Full Black is the pump and cooler unit of an Eisbaer Pro liquid cooler on its own, without radiator, tubes and fans. It mounts on AMD AM4, AM5, TR4, sTRX4, SP3 and sWRX8 and on Intel LGA 1700, 1851, 2011, 2011-3, 2066, 3647 and 4189. To build the loop you still need a radiator, hoses from our tubing and two G1/4 fittings.
Compatibility covers both versions of Intel Socket 3647, Narrow & Square. With the included AMD mounting set, cooling an AMD Ryzen processor is also child's play, in Alphacool's words.
Alphacool says this unit offers a much larger cooling surface than the normal Eisbaer. It was specially developed for extremely large CPU DIEs and fully covers processors such as the AMD Threadripper, but also the AMD Ryzen CPUs. According to Alphacool the Eisbaer Pro has also been designed for the Intel Socket 3647, to ensure the best possible cooling performance of the entire CPU.
On the respective processors the cold plate bottom covers the entire surface. Its cooling fins take up an area of around 55 x 42 mm, which Alphacool says exceeds all known processor cores. This ensures that all hotspots of a CPU are directly covered and thus, as Alphacool puts it, optimally cooled. In total there are 58 cooling fins on the bottom of the cooler, each 0.4 mm thick. They also have what Alphacool calls an optimal distance of 0.4 mm between them. The bottom itself is only 3 mm thick, which allows the heat to reach the water and be dissipated as quickly as possible.
The unit uses the DC-LT 2 pump, very compact and small. Alphacool says it offers enough power to integrate other components, such as a GPU water cooler or radiator, into the water circuit. That is why Alphacool calls the Eisbaer Pro a true multi-talent: expandable and fully compatible with DIY water cooling components. It also calls it the optimal solution for the most powerful processors on the market.
