The Alphacool Core XT45 Full Copper 240mm is a 240 mm radiator for two 120 mm fans, 50.00 mm thick, with two G1/4 ports and a third G1/4 port for filling and draining. It comes with two magnetic side panels, one with aRGB lighting and one without. The size for three fans is the Core XT45 Full Copper 360mm Radiator.

The first Core Series radiator

Alphacool says its Full Copper Radiator Series has set the standard in liquid cooling performance for more than a decade. Now it introduces this model as the first radiator in its Core Series. In Alphacool's words it delivers outstanding cooling performance paired with an elegant, modern aesthetic. The housing is redesigned, and its clean contours are enhanced by the interchangeable side panels described below.

Full copper inside

As with Alphacool's proven NexXxoS models, all water-bearing components are made entirely of copper, including the fins, channels and chambers. Alphacool gives the reason as ensuring excellent thermal conductivity. Inside, the structure is optimized: sixteen instead of twelve water channels provide better flow dynamics, while the refined fin design further enhances heat transfer. Alphacool says the result is noticeably improved cooling. The technical data below counts 32 cooling channels and a fin density of 16 FPI.

What the loop needs

Of the three G1/4 ports two are used, IN and OUT, so the radiator takes two fittings. The fill and drain port takes the G1/4 plug from the box, and its thread length is limited to 5 mm at most. The radiator holds two 120mm fans on one side or four on both sides, and the fan mounting thread is M3.
