The Alphacool Core 70 Tube Reservoir with VPP/D5 Apex PWM Pump is a 494 ml tube reservoir with a glass cylinder and Alphacool's VPP Apex pump included in the package. Its pump compatibility is VPP/D5, and it measures 293 x 74 x 97 mm.
Alphacool calls the reservoir the perfect choice for modern custom water cooling systems, with a sleek design and its signature Core look. It says the reservoir not only makes a visual statement but also offers well-thought-out features for easy integration into sophisticated cooling loops. In Alphacool's words it combines a modern and functional design with premium materials. The high-quality real glass cylinder is the highlight of this reservoir, offering what Alphacool calls exceptional durability and a clear view of the coolant inside the glass tube. Combined with the integrated lighting, it creates what Alphacool describes as impressive lighting effects that make the reservoir a real eye-catcher in any system. The brass fittings are chrome-plated, also feature the typical Core design and, as Alphacool puts it, blend seamlessly into the overall aesthetic.
Additionally, the top can be replaced with the included Tube-Top, which is also in the Core design, opening up further customization options. Because it is interchangeable, the Tube-Top significantly simplifies filling and bleeding the cooling loop, making both water cooling installation and maintenance much easier, Alphacool says.
The mounting bracket is rotatable, which Alphacool says ensures maximum installation flexibility and allows for free positioning within the case. The reservoir mounts with screws, for example on a 240mm or 360mm radiator. With the Push-Mounting-Kit, for example on a 280mm / 420mm radiator, the mounting bracket is attached to the radiator and the reservoir.
Two of the four G1/4 ports are marked: OUT leads from the reservoir to the component, IN comes back from the component to the reservoir. Two ports take two fittings. The lighting connects through the ARGB adapter in the box.
