The Alphacool NexXxoS XT45 Full Copper 60mm Dual Radiator is a radiator for two 60 mm fans, 45 mm thick, with two G1/4 threads (one IN, one OUT). It measures 157.5 x 61.5 x 45 mm (+/- 3%).

Full copper

Following this tradition of new developments, Alphacool says, the new NexXxos radiators are the first to truly deserve the "Full copper" attribute. All main parts are made from copper: not only the fins and channels, but also the chambers. According to Alphacool this brings an improvement in performance where other radiators are left without a chance. It adds that the material already gives an advantage over the competition, while the inner structure is up to par with it. Separated chambers give the coolant a clear direction, allowing high flow rates which, by Alphacool's account, improve the performance of the whole cooling loop. The chambers on the heat exchanger are flat, and thanks to the reduced overall length they increase mounting flexibility. The data sheet puts the build in three points: high water flow rate and efficient heat transfer, optimal fin structure, and 100% of the internal structure made of copper.

What the loop needs

Both G1/4 threads are in use, one IN and one OUT, so the radiator takes two fittings. Alphacool gives a maximum thread length of 5 mm for them. Two 60 mm fans fit on one side, or four with both sides fitted. For the M3 fan thread the box has eight M3x30mm and eight M3x6mm hexagon socket screws, plus eight washers and an Allen key.

Notes

• Fill the loop only with clear, transparent water cooling fluids. Alphacool warns that the particles and additives in pastel liquids can clog and permanently damage water cooling products such as radiators, pumps, coolers and hoses. It adds that this can result in voiding the manufacturer's warranty as well.
