Solid brass barb

What a run needs

A tube run takes two fittings, one at each end. The G1/4 outer thread screws into a G1/4 port and is tightened with an open-end wrench with a 13 mm width across flats. For increased safety and optimal tube retention, Alphacool recommends using the ES wire tensioning clamp (Art. No. 10282) in combination with this fitting. The clamp provides a more secure hold on the tube, especially important under higher pressure or temperature fluctuations.

Notes

• Use the fitting only with clear, transparent water cooling fluids. Alphacool warns that the particles and additives in pastel liquids can clog and permanently damage radiators, pumps, coolers and hoses, which can void the manufacturer's warranty.
