The Alphacool Apex 17W/mK Thermal Grease 20g is a gray thermal paste with a thermal conductivity of 17 W/mK, delivered in a 20g container with a screw cap. It is electrically non-conductive and suitable for high contact pressures. The same grease also comes in a 100g container.
The Apex grease is aimed at all users who want to achieve optimum performance with their system. Alphacool calls this high-pressure thermal compound the clear favorite when performance and ease of processing are required.
Alphacool says the grease can be optimally processed due to its high viscosity. To apply the thermal paste perfectly, a plastic spatula or a comparable tool should be used. A spatula is not included in the scope of delivery.
Alphacool says the grease has an extremely high thermal conductivity, making it one of the most powerful thermal greases on the market by its account. Only liquid metal thermal pastes offer better thermal conductivity, it says. The amount of thermal paste is sufficient for several applications. What is left can be stored in the container to protect it from drying out. In addition, the grease is non-caustic. If a small amount of paste spills while applying, Alphacool rates damage to the hardware as highly unlikely.
What Alphacool calls its high-performance thermal compound can be used to cool all types of electronic components. That means CPUs and graphics cards, and also the components of Playstation and Xbox game consoles. Alphacool says those can be cooled too and thus significantly improved in terms of their performance and durability.
These technical specifications are Alphacool's. Its density unit, g/cc, is the same as g/cm3.
