Alphacool Eisrohr PETG HardTube 13mm ID, 16mm OD, 60cm, Clear, 4-pack

The Alphacool Eisrohr 16/13mm PETG 60cm - 4pcs is PETG hard tube for water cooling with a 16 mm outer and 13 mm inner diameter. It is sold as a set of four 60 cm tubes (240 cm in all). PETG bends at lower temperatures than acrylic and is generally more flexible and easier to handle.

Hard tube in place of soft tube

Alphacool says the HardTube Project is becoming a reality, and that it is setting out on a new path and making great strides. Before now, the most common approach to water cooling was to use normal PVC tubes. Now Alphacool is offering hard tube as a new way to configure your water cooling system. Alphacool says the HardTube variants bring more order into your system, which gives off a more structured impression.

The HardTube range

The newest in Alphacool's range are the brass tubes, available in black chrome and chrome, as well as acrylic tubes, carbon, and borosilicate glass. With their fitted connectors and simply-designed functionality, Alphacool says they can be connected to each other with an absolutely tight seal.

Bending and cutting

With the appropriate bending tools the PETG-tubes can be bent to fit into any system easily, without needing any additional angled pieces. In order to install them, the tubes need to be sawn to the correct length. Alphacool calls PETG an introduction to the world of HardTubes.

What a run needs

Each run takes two fittings for hard tube with a 16 mm outer diameter, one at each end.

Notes

• Alphacool's note on application: use the tube only with clear, transparent water cooling fluids.
• Alphacool warns that the particles and additives in pastel liquids can clog and permanently damage radiators, pumps, coolers and hoses.
