The Alphacool ES D-Plug 25.5mm G1/4 Male to Male Resizable Fitting - Deep Black is a brass adapter fitting with two G1/4 male threads, one fitting per pack. It is 25.5 mm long and can extend by up to 10 mm. Use it to connect the G1/4 ports of two water cooling components, like GPU and CPU coolers or radiators, directly to each other within a water circuit. What's New?

Compared to double connectors or similar adapters, the two halves of this connector are plugged into each other and not screwed. The necessary stability is provided by two closely fitting O-rings that sit on the Male component. Alphacool says that, of course, the connector has been extensively tested in the Alphacool lab, with the result that it is stable up to 1.5 bar.

Uses

The D-Plug offers the possibility of an easy connection between water cooling elements such as graphics card and CPU coolers or radiators. Since the two halves are only plugged in, easy installation or quick replacement are uncomplicated. The length is variable: by pulling the connector apart, an extension of up to 10 mm can be achieved. This flexibility allows compensation for inaccuracies in the system design and prevents hoses from twisting during assembly. With its use, a connection is possible even in the tightest spaces.

The right size for every application

The ES D-Plug is available in lengths of 20 mm, 25.5 mm and 31.5 mm, and this is the 25.5 mm one. They come in multiple colors, such as brilliant chrome or matte black. Six replacement O-rings in three different colors are included.

Each end screws into a G1/4 port, so the fitting takes no tube and needs one G1/4 port on each of the two components.

Application notes

• To ensure the required stability and tightness, both O-rings of the Male component must be fully recessed in the Female component.
• Alphacool states that the specified pressure of 1.5 bar is reached only when both sides of the plug are mounted to fixed parts.
