The Alphacool NexXxoS HPE-60 Full Copper X-Flow 40mm Hepta Radiator is a radiator for seven 40 mm fans in a row (7x40mm), with the water inlet and outlet on opposite sides. Alphacool gives its size as 326 x 60 x 40 mm (L x W x H), and its pre-chambers, cooling fins and cooling channels are all made of pure copper.

Full Copper

Alphacool calls itself uncompromising in its choice of materials and says it is the only manufacturer in the world that uses only copper for all water-bearing parts in the radiator. Other materials appear in two places only: the fitting threads are made of brass and the outer casing of the radiator is made of sheet steel.

HPE = High Performance

HPE radiators are based on the NexXxoS series, but what is new in this variant is the additional cooling channels and a very high fin density. Due to the technical design, Alphacool says, the cooling capacity increases significantly without restricting the water flow within the radiator. If the radiator is equipped with fans on both sides in push/pull operation, Alphacool says it is possible to achieve a significant temperature reduction compared to standard radiators.

What the loop needs

A loop runs in through a port on one side and out through a port on the other, so the radiator takes two G1/4 fittings. It holds seven 40 mm fans in its fan slots one-sided or 14 double-sided, on M3 threads. All screws for mounting in the case and for mounting the fans are included with the radiator: 16x M3x30 and 16x M3x8. Additional screws are usually not required.

Notes

• Use only clear, transparent water cooling fluids. Alphacool warns that the particles and additives in pastel liquids can clog and permanently damage water cooling products such as radiators, pumps, coolers and hoses, which can result in voiding the manufacturer's warranty as well.
