The Alphacool MCX 2x Distributor with 1m 5/3mm Tubing is a black distributor made of acetal with two G1/4 internal threads and two screwed-in 3 mm hose nozzles. A transparent 5/3mm PVC hose with a length of 1 m is included in the delivery.

What it is for

The distributor opens up the possibility to integrate Alphacool's active backplates or MCX water coolers, such as the MCX One, into the water circuit easily. This allows e.g. RAM devices and voltage converters on graphics cards to be cooled more efficiently. Alphacool sums it up as flexibility and design with optimal performance, and says the part offers various areas of application.

What the loop needs

Integration into the loop is uncomplicated via the 2 G1/4 connections with internal thread, so the distributor takes two G1/4 fittings. Alphacool's connections from the Eiszapfen series are recommended here, and the thread of a fitting may be 5.5 mm long at most. The two 3 mm nozzles take the hose in the box, which offers sufficient leeway for a flexible installation.

Notes

• Use only clear, transparent water cooling fluids. Alphacool warns that the particles and additives in pastel liquids can clog and permanently damage radiators, pumps, coolers and hoses, which can void the manufacturer's warranty.
