How absorbent is the dressing, and how does it protect the wound?
The 5-layer dressing absorbs exudate efficiently, with the SAF layer taking up to 15× its weight. Its soft silicone surface cushions the wound, keeps it clean, reduces leakage, and protects the surrounding skin.
How adhesive is this dressing?
The dressing provides secure adhesion to stay firmly in place. Its large silicone border gently adhere the skin without causing discomfort. Adhesion may be reduced if the skin is damp, oily—clean and dry the area before application.
Will it hurt when removing the dressing?
It is designed for low-pain removal. The soft silicone layer gently adheres to dry surrounding skin but does not stick to the wound itself, allowing smooth removal without disturbing the wound area.
Is it suitable for sensitive skin and flexible areas like joints?
Yes. Made with soft, skin-friendly materials, the dressing is gentle on sensitive skin. Its flexible foam design conforms to body contours and moves comfortably with joints without restricting motion.
How often should I change the dressing?
