1. PASS Mode (Pass-Through) Description: In this mode, the device automatically detects and synchronizes with your TV's native audio capabilities. It supports all incoming audio formats and passes them directly through the Optical (SPDIF) output without degradation. Analog Output Notice: The R/L and AUX ports will output stereo sound only when a standard 2.0 PCM signal is input. If surround bitstream formats (such as Dolby or DTS) are fed into the system, the analog channels cannot decode them, resulting in digital noise/humming instead of audio. 2. R/L Mode (2.0CH Stereo Conversion) Description: Engineered for maximum compatibility, this mode accepts all major audio formats, including PCM, Dolby Digital, Dolby TrueHD, and DTS-HD. It forces or downmixes the audio signal so that all output interfacesR/L, AUX, and Opticalsimultaneously deliver clean, high-quality 2.0 PCM stereo sound. 3. SPDIF Mode (Advanced Digital Priority) Description: Specially optimized for digital home theater setups. This mode supports all premium audio formats (PCM, Dolby Digital, Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD) and routes the full bitstream audio exclusively via the Optical (SPDIF) interface for multi-channel surround sound. Analog Output Notice: Similar to Pass Mode, the analog R/L and AUX ports function properly only with PCM input. Inputting non-PCM bitstream formats will cause digital static/buzzing on the analog channels due to hardware decoding boundaries.
