HOOCCC 4.0 M.2 to PCIe x16 Adapter Cable turns a spare M.2 M-Key NVMe slot into a fully functional PCIe x16 slot, giving your graphics card, network card, capture card or RAID card a place to run when the motherboard's x16 lanes are gone, blocked, or simply not enough. Built around PCIe 4.0 x4 bandwidth and a shielded silver-plated cable, it delivers stable, near-lossless transmission in mining rigs, ITX builds and hardware test benches alike.
High-Speed 4.0 x4 TransmissionThe adapter runs on the PCIe 4.0 x4 lane from your M.2 NVMe slot, delivering up to 64Gbps of bidirectional bandwidth roughly double the throughput of a Gen3 x4 link. It remains fully backward compatible with GEN3 and GEN2 devices, so older cards can be mixed in without forcing a downgrade on the rest of your setup. Whether you are pushing a modern GPU or a bandwidth-hungry x4 NIC, the link stays responsive under sustained load.
Built for Signal IntegrityEvery part of the signal path is designed to keep high-frequency transmission clean:
Choose the version that fits your chassis: a 90° right-angle version for tight clearances behind the motherboard tray, or a 180° flat version for open-air frames and test benches. The twin-row flat cable (1.6mm thick, 12mm wide) bends and folds freely, so you can route it around drives, fans and frame rails without kinking. A SATA power cable is included to feed auxiliary power straight from your PSU, taking load off the M.2 slot and keeping the connected card powered during peak draw.
Fits More Than Graphics CardsThis is not a GPU-only riser. The x16 slot happily accepts:
The M.2 end supports 2230 / 2242 / 2260 / 2280 module sizes with printed cut-to-length guides, so you can trim the board to match your slot and secure it with the mounting holes for a wobble-free fit.
Simple, Driver-Free InstallationInstalling takes minutes: seat the M.2 board into the M-Key NVMe slot, secure it with the mounting hole, connect the SATA power lead, and plug your card into the x16 slot. No driver is required for the adapter itself the connected device is recognized by the system as if it were plugged into a native slot. The compact board (approx. 111125mm) fits comfortably inside most cases and risers.
