- The unit will chirp at the end of the alarm life, indicating that the alarm is in need of replacement
- 10-Year Limited Manufacturer's Warranty on the Alarm Only: warranty begins when the CO alarm is powered on. If that date is unknown, it should be assumed that alarms should be replaced. The 10-Year limited warranty is not a battery performance claim.
