The galvanized weight of one pound per foot enables the net to descend rapidly. The galvanized coating offers protection against rust and corrosion, enhancing the net's durability and making it appropriate for use in both fresh and salt water. Cast net meshes measure a standard 3/8 inches (from knot to knot). Uniform meshes assist in capturing as many bait species as possible. A sturdy, extended polyethylene hand rope facilitates casting to more distant and expansive water areas.

Nylon multifilament cast nets come with a stainless steel swivel and a functional wristlet. The durable and pliable swivel provides optimal hauling performance, while the broadened wristlet minimizes potential chafing on the wrist.
