Product Description:
The EM415 Pro automotive short and open finder is a circuit testing tool for locating wiring faults in vehicles. It traces wires through bundles, conduits, behind panels, under carpets, and upholstery, helping identify trouble spots without piercing the wire.
Core Selling Points:
Connect the transmitter in series with the circuit or wire under test, including in place of a blown fuse, across a connector, in series with an open wire, or at a light bulb socket. The receiver uses a flexible probe for access in congested areas. Transmitter and receiver LEDs indicate open or short circuit conditions, while adjustable sensitivity supports different tracing situations. Non-contact operation requires no wire piercing. Internal protection helps guard against power surges and overloads.
