Godox UL Umbrella-Style Softbox with Bowens Mount

Rectangular Light Modifier for Fast Setup and Flattering, Controlled Light

Take control of your lighting with the Godox UL Umbrella-Style Softbox, built for photographers and filmmakers who need quick setup and beautifully diffused light whether in the studio or out on location. This rectangular softbox combines speed, portability, and professional-quality output, making it an essential tool for weddings, portraits, editorials, and product photography.

Fast, Hassle-Free Setup

The intuitive umbrella-style design allows you to pop the softbox open and close it just as quickly, like a standard umbrella. No rods or tools are needed, making it ideal for mobile setups and tight shooting schedules.

Soft, Even Illumination

Included inner baffle and outer diffuser work together to minimize hotspots and deliver soft, consistent light. This makes it perfect for flattering skin tones and smooth gradients across your subject.

Beauty Dish Option with Deflector Plate

A removable center deflector plate transforms the softbox into a beauty dish-style modifier. This creates a punchier, more focused light that's ideal for fashion or dramatic portraits.

Precision Control with Included Grid

The removable fabric grid helps you shape the light and elim inate spill. It's perfect for controlling highlights and shadows with directional lighting, especially in tight spaces or moody setups.

High-Efficiency Silver Interior

The reflective silver lining boosts light output while maintaining smooth diffusion. This helps maximize your fixture's power, creating crisp results with fewer light sources.

Optional Edge Mask for Creative Lighting

Enhance your lighting style with an optional edge mask that blocks the softbox's center light. This forces the light to spill only from the edges, creating rim-lit effects ideal for product, fashion, and still-life work.

Universal Bowens Compatibility

The softbox includes a standard Bowens mount, making it compatible with a wide range of strobes and continuous lights. Optional adapters are available for use with Profoto, Broncolor, and the Godox proprietary mount.

Perfect for Studio or On-the-Go

From mobile portrait sessions to elaborate editorial shoots, the UL series is built to go wherever your work takes you. Lightweight and compact when folded, it fits easily in most gear bags.
