When you turn the bass down and the gain all the way up, you instantly have a fantastic transparent overdrive or medium distortion sound, providing all the crunch you require. The Color control is more than a standard tone knob; it's quite distinctive to this circuit. Adjusting it right or left will either boost or cut the high and low end slightly, while the midrange frequencies stay unaffected.

Combining this with the Bass control gives you a highly versatile tone-shaping palette, matched with legendary ease of use. The push switch on the side manages the amount of compression and changes the clipping structure in the circuit for extra punch
