Can I open my laptop and work on this tray?
I wouldnt use it that way. I use it to store my closed laptop under the desk. It slides out enough to grab the laptop, but not enough to open and work on it comfortably.
How far does the tray slide out?
Mine slides out about 5.9 inches. It is enough for quick access to my laptop or tablet, but it does not fully extend like a keyboard tray.
Will this fit any desk?
Not all desks. It works best on a flat desk with open space underneath. Desks with drawers, crossbars, thick aprons, or rounded edges may not fit well. You need at least 20 inches of clear width under the desk.
What can I store on it?
use it for a closed laptop, tablet, notebook, and small keyboard. It helps keep my desktop cleaner and saves space.
