Intellinet Gigabit Fiber Media Converter, SC Single Mode, DIN Rail This Intellinet Gigabit fiber media converter links 10/100/1000Base-TX copper Ethernet to 1000Base-LX single-mode fiber for long-distance network extension up to 12.4 miles on the fiber side and up to 300 feet on the RJ45 side. It uses an SC fiber connection at 1310 nm and supports autonegotiation with full-duplex and half-duplex operation for easier integration with existing network equipment. The slim IP40-rated metal housing is designed for industrial environments and supports DIN-rail mounting. For demanding installations, it features two redundant 12 to 58 V DC inputs through an I/O terminal block, 6 kV port surge protection, and a fanless design for silent operation. Additional network features include support for 8K MAC address entries with auto-learning and auto-aging, 1 MByte buffer memory, jumbo frames up to 10 kBytes, DIP switch control, and status LEDs. It is rated for shock, freefall, and vibration per IEC 60068 test standards and operates in temperatures from -40 to 167 degrees Fahrenheit. Package includes the media converter and instructions.
