Does Camius security system record if my internet goes down?
Yes. The NVR records to the 4TB hard drive with no internet required. Motion detection, AI alerts, and scheduled recording all work offline. Remote viewing resumes automatically when internet returns.
Is a monthly subscription required for AI detection or push alerts?
No subscription required. AI human and vehicle detection, push notifications, and email alerts with snapshots are all included at no ongoing cost. Cloud backup using Google Drive/Dropbox is optional.
