What features require a paid subscription?
Only the advanced AI recognition features require a subscription. The optional plan can analyze detected motion and label events such as person, vehicle, pet, or package for added clarity.
Do I need to use a MicroSD card, or can I store videos in the cloud?
You can choose either option. After the free 30-day cloud trial, you may subscribe to cloud storage if you prefer not to use a MicroSD. We support 6s event cloud clips ($2.99/month) or local recording via a MicroSD card up to 256GB (not included)
