The ASCO SC8256B045V is a compact, direct-acting 2-way/2-position solenoid valve with a normally closed configuration. The valve is rated to control media: air, inert gases, light oil, and water within the specified operating pressure and temperature ranges. Operation is actuated by an energized coil; coil included with the product. This valve supports both horizontal and vertical mounting orientations and is rated for indoor use with NEMA 4/4X enclosure protection and IP66 ingress protection.
