This cover measures 10.5" in diameter, wide enough to be used with most dinner plates weighing 2.05lbs/0.9kg. They're tall enough that the top won't touch the food, and the handle is big enough to remove the plate without touching the glass.
- BPA-free food-grade silicone by design. It has a large wide tempered glass to cover most of the plate and is up to four times as strong as regular soda-lime glass. The high-temperature tolerance is similar to laboratory glass. However, it is mechanically much stronger.
- The microwave food cover is dishwasher safe. For college students, office workers, or anyone else without easy access to a dishwasher, the lid can be hand-washed. Let come to room temperature to avoid accidental shattering. It is recommended to store it where small children can't get ahold of it and accidentally pull it down on themselves.
