The MAG540w3 is a Linux-based set-top box intended for media playback via compatible, user-configured third-party services. It does not include any TV channels, subscriptions, or content. This device does not support Android applications. It offers 4K HDR playback support, delivering up to 4K HDR output with AV1/HEVC decoding for smooth performance when used with properly licensed content and compatible services. Responsive performance is provided by the Amlogic S905Y4 chipset, ensuring smooth navigation and stable on-device operation (performance varies by service, app, or provider). Fast and stable connectivity is achieved with included Ethernet and Dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4GHz/5GHz) for reliable network connections. Network speed and stability are dependent on your router, ISP, and service provider. Dolby Digital Plus audio support allows for Dolby Digital Plus audio pass-through and output when the connected TV/audio system and content source support it. The package contents (no service included) consist of the MAG540w3 device, an IR remote control, an HDMI cable, and a power adapter. Service access, if required, needs user accounts and a compatible third-party provider, which must be obtained directly by the customer. Not all service providers are compatible with this model.
