What Makes This Cable Special 2-in-1 SFF-8482 Design Most SAS breakout cables end in standard SATA or SFF-8680 connectors. This cable uses SFF-8482 (29-position combo connectors) that support: SAS data signals (compatible with SAS HDD/SSD) Power delivery (integrated 12V / 5V power pins) Sideband signals (LED activity, drive presence) No backplane. No separate power adapter. Plug directly into your SAS drive.
