The terminations utilize a distinctive ultrasonic welding method that bonds the copper wire directly to the brass banana or spade connector, without any intervening metal, compression sleeves, or setscrews. Star quad cable design minimizes the EM field surrounding the cable for less interaction with other system wiring. Assembled in Seattle, Washington using proprietary connectors and a Sonobond welder. Locking banana plugs ensure optimal engagement between plug and binding post; advancing the locking collar tightens the splines to the inside of the post
