The Generic Brand 2-Port Dual Monitor HDMI KVM Switch consolidates two computers, two HDMI monitors, and four shared USB devices into one organized workstation. It suits home offices, professional desks, laptop and desktop setups, and gaming spaces where users need to move between systems without reconnecting displays and peripherals.
Use Extended Mode to spread applications across two screens for multitasking, or select Mirror Mode to duplicate content for demonstrations and collaborative viewing. HDMI 1 input routes to OUT 1, while HDMI 2 input routes to OUT 2. Each computer must provide two compatible HDMI video outputs to use two independent displays in Extended Mode.
The switch supports resolutions up to 4096 x 2160 at 60Hz. Actual resolution and refresh rate depend on the connected computers, monitors, HDMI cables, and graphics hardware.
Connect up to four USB peripherals and access them from either computer. The USB 3.0 hub accommodates devices such as wired or wireless keyboards and mice, printers, scanners, and compatible storage peripherals.
Select the active computer using the front-panel button or the external wired remote controller. The metal enclosure assists heat dissipation, while the included 12V power adapter supplies external power.
Compatible with major operating systems, including Windows, macOS, Linux, Unix, Windows Vista, and Windows XP.
