Alphacool NexXxoS UT60 Full Copper 140mm Radiator (14176)

The Alphacool NexXxoS UT60 Full Copper 140mm Radiator is a 140 mm radiator for one 140 mm fan, 60 mm thick, with fins, channels and chambers made from copper. The thinner radiator in the same fan size is the XT45 Full Copper 140mm radiator.

What the loop needs

The radiator has 7x G1/4 connections. A loop uses two of them, so the radiator takes two fittings, and the screw plugs in the box close the openings that stay unused. The radiator holds one 140 mm fan, and the box has four M3x30mm and four M3x35mm hexagon bolts for the M3 fan thread.

Alphacool calls versatility the essence of the new NexXxos series. Alphacool lists different versions to be used with 120mm, 140mm or 180mm fans, available in different thicknesses. In its words the choice of 30mm, 45mm and 60mm offers "the perfect radiator for every purpose". Even mounting and installation of fans and radiator grills is described as easy and versatile with these radiators. The M3 threads are standard in the radiator sector, and Alphacool notes that such screws are available in all lengths at an affordable price. Even the dreaded insertion of a screw too far into the radiator does not result in expensive damage, according to Alphacool. Unlike other radiators, it says, the NexXxos series is equipped with an internal protective ledge which stops the screw before it damages the fins.

Notes

• Use only clear, transparent water cooling fluids. Alphacool warns that the particles and additives in pastel liquids can clog and permanently damage water cooling products such as radiators, pumps, coolers and hoses. It adds that this can void the manufacturer's warranty as well.
