The Alphacool G1/4 3/8"ID x 1/2"OD 90° Revolvable Compression Fitting - Deep Black is a compression fitting with a G1/4 thread for 13/10 mm tubing (3/8" ID x 1/2" OD), one fitting per pack. What it does

The connector is used to connect a 13/10 mm hose with a 1/4 inch thread. Alphacool calls the 90 degree bend and the rotation interesting for easy tubing in the system. It gives the length as 34 mm, the width as 12 x 18 mm and the height as 29 mm.

The fitting series

Finish

A new process during chromating leaves the surface finish completely connected with the brass body, hence ensuring permanent, intense colors. Alphacool says it also prevents peeling of the chrome layer. Some of the fittings carry the Alphacool name on them in blue lettering, which additionally underlines the individuality of these items.

What a run needs

A tube run takes two fittings, one at each end, and this one screws into a G1/4 thread.

Notes

• Use it only with clear, transparent water cooling fluids. Alphacool warns that the particles and additives in pastel liquids can clog and permanently damage radiators, pumps, coolers and hoses.
