The Alphacool NexXxoS XT45 Full Copper Triple 40mm Radiator is a radiator for three 40 mm fans in the XT45 thickness, 147 x 40 x 41 mm overall, with two 6 mm connections. Alphacool's technical data gives the thickness as 39 - 49mm.
Alphacool says the new NexXxoS radiators are the first to truly deserve the "Full copper" attribute. All main parts are made from copper: not only the fins and channels, but the chambers also. Alphacool's claim is that this brings an improvement in performance where other radiators are left without a chance. In its view the material already gives an advantage over the competition, and the inner structure is up to par with the competition. The chambers are separated to give the coolant a clear direction, allowing high flow rates which improve the performance of the whole cooling loop. They are flat chambers as well, and thanks to the reduced overall length of the heat exchanger they increase mounting flexibility.
Versatile and easy mounting is one of the main points on which, Alphacool says, its research and development department focused. Across the series the chamber offers three possibilities for fitting installation on both inlet and outlet (not on the NexXxoS ST30). Less angled fittings are needed that way, improving flow rates and offering more mounting possibilities. Hence a radiator can even be installed in tight enclosures, where internal installation is otherwise not a possibility. On all UT60 and NexXxoS Monsta radiators a G1/4 screw plug allows easy de-aeration of the radiator and hassle-free vertical installation of the heat exchanger. That threaded opening can even be used for filling, e.g. in combination with a Fillport.
This radiator's own technical data lists two 6 mm connections and no G1/4 thread. It takes three 40 mm fans, and the box holds twelve M3x30mm and twelve M3x35mm hexagon socket screws for mounting.
