The Alphacool G1/4 Double 45° Revolvable Angled Adaptor - Chrome is a double 45° angled adapter from a G1/4 outer thread to a G1/4 inner thread, one adapter per pack. It is revolvable in two places, so it can cover all angles up to 90°. Alphacool lists it as the HF angle adapter double 45° rotatable G1/4 AG to G1/4 IG.

Functionality of this connector

Alphacool calls this angled adaptor a true multi-talent. With its two 45 degree joints it reaches every intermediate angle size on the way to a right angle. Alternatively it can be used to displace a connection thread, for maximum fitting compatibility or other needs: Alphacool describes that as slightly offsetting a 1/4 inch threaded connection hole.

The fitting series

Alphacool says its fittings go new ways in looks, quality of manufacturing, colors and choice, and that the inner diameter of these fittings truly deserves the "high flow" attribute. The first three colors are Chrome, Deep Black and Shiny Copper, which Alphacool says offer something for every taste. The product matching series are designed to look elegant in every system, highlighting the individual design of the computer. In Alphacool's words the limits are endless with these parts in combination with Alphacool tubing.

Surface finish

Alphacool uses a new process during chromatizing. The surface finish is completely connected with the brass body, hence ensuring permanent intense colors and preventing peeling of the chrome layer. The Alphacool name in blue lettering on some of the fittings additionally underlines the individuality of these items.

What the loop needs

The outer thread screws into a G1/4 port, and the inner thread takes one G1/4 fitting of your choice. The adapter has no tube connection of its own, so pick that fitting to match your tube size.

Notes

• Use only clear, transparent water cooling fluids. Alphacool warns that the particles and additives in pastel liquids can clog and permanently damage radiators, pumps, coolers and hoses, which can void the manufacturer's warranty.
